A special thanks to the organizing committee and around 80 volunteers who have made an invaluable effort with small and big assignments for the audience to get the best of the best

This year's festival is now in full flower. We are very grateful for an
incredibly beautiful and emotional opening concert on Tuesday evening, and
for a rich festival day yesterday, with no fewer than five concerts.
Today, Thursday, we already had a fully sold-out luncheon concert and
"Open stage" at Skur 2; we are continuing with what we expect to be an
unforgettable evening concert in the cathedral at 19.99, and an
exquisite "intimate concert" in the lovely restored little chapel, Sola
Ruinkirke, at 22.00. And this feast continues with more concerts every

Vokalensemble/The Choir of Trinity Wall Street:
Our intention was to create a vocal project with singers from different
parts of the world. The final result was that the brilliant The Choir of
Due to illness we have to cancel two concerts: The Meloditime with Stian Carstensen in Sola Strand Hotel Thursday 10/8 and Friday 11/8. If you already have bought tickets, you will be contacted by our ticket office.
The program will also be changed in the lunch concert in Skur 2 Wednesday 9/8. Instead of Stian Carstensen playing we are presenting "A morning with disappointments" with works of Beethoven, Grieg etc. Names of artists will soon be ready, follow our website.
We are also very glad to be able to present a new beautiful extra concerts in Skeiloftet in Sandnes Friday 11/8 at 14.00: "Debussy & Brahms" with Yejin Gil, Camilla Kjøll and Christian Ihle Hadland.
